Day 14: GAETI-iPad for Classrooms, WebQuest Sessions 2, Exploring Culture through Art, Creating a Newspaper

Today we watched a video introducing the use of iPads in the Classroom.  There was also a powerpoint presented that covered different apps that can be used with the iPad to create a 21st century classroom. We took a quiz on the Socrative website and created an account for Socrative for our personal class.  My group shared our WebQuest about Oral Hygeine.  Today we worked on a class newspaper, using google docs.  My group and I worked collaboratively to complete the newspaper.  The name of the newspaper is The Daily Warriors.We included information associated, with the bird flu, blue bell ice cream, chikungunya and electronic noises for detection of stomach cancer.  Working with partners through google docs is another resource that I am going to incorporate in my class.
