Day 11: GAETI-School/District Policy Involvement Discussion, Exploring the Pros and Cons of BYOD, Policy Investigation Activity, Exploring Culture Through Art, Benefits & Implementation of a 1:1 Program, 1:1 and BYOD Implementation Plan Activity

The sessions today on BYOD(Bring Your Own Device) and the 1:1 program were interesting to me. The information was well explained and easy to understand.  We worked with partners to generate a list of 4 pros and 4 cons to BYOD and the 1:1 program.  We were grouped according to the color of marker that we were given.  We also received articles about the two topics that were presented. The presenter from Madison County gave us handouts, shared power points and videos that were helpful in the understanding of the subject matter.
